The Teachers and Teaching Methods
The
teachers go through an intense training in human resource development
consequent to their appointment and a unique feature of the college is
that the teachers themselves are practitioners of their craft - they
conduct HRD training programmes in other institutions and companies. The
students thus get an apprenticeship under the teachers who are skilled
practitioners of human resource development. In addition, the subjects
taught are those which have been researched on by the AIM INSIGHTS group
for the last twenty-five years. More importantly, the teaching methods
and training offered, both interactive in their strategies, as well as
projects undertaken, enable a student to pass out of the institution
with strong self-esteem. Also, the belief of the institution that
professional competence cannot be effectively offered in a large group
ensures that the strength of every class is limited to twenty-five. The
advantages of such a powerful teacher – student ratio are, of course,
manifold.
