01. Eligibility
01.1 Certificate Courses - Higher Secondary pass

02. Duration
02.1 One semester of eighteen weeks or two semesters of thirty six weeks
03. Semester Examinations
03.1 Semester Examinations will be conducted
at the end of each Semester. It may also be conducted at Mangalore, Bangalore,
Trivandrum, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Calcutta, New Delhi or any other city
wherever at least ten candidates have opted for a centre.
03.2 Examinations can be conducted for
individual candidates where less than ten candidates have enrolled for
participation. Examiners appointed by CDCE in different places will conduct such
examinations.

04.2 All papers will be
taught through printed course materials sent to the candidates.
05. Rules and Regulations
05.1 Each paper will have one assignment to
be completed within the stipulated time which will be provided by CDCE. This
will carry fifteen marks. The final examination will have twenty five marks for
each paper. Project activities and practical papers will have equal weightage
with other modes of testing which will include the final examination.
05.2 There will be a review committee with
the Head of the Institution as the Chairperson to consider any complaint of any
student about internal assessment marks. The Committee will have two other
members of the teaching staff as its members.
05.3 A student is entitled for a
consideration of the review of the internal assessment marks only if she/he has
completed all assignments within the stipulated time.
05.4 The review committee's decision will be
final and will be intimated to the student in writing.
05.5 All the papers will be valued by a
teacher appointed by CDCE.
05.6 Following are the grades for passing:
A+ - 90% and above
A - 80% -
89%
B+ - 75% - 79%
B - 70% -
74%
C - 60% - 69%
D - 50% -
59%
Fail (E) - Below 50%
05.7 A student will be allowed to repeat an
examination of any paper if or when she/he fails in an examination of a single
or more papers. She/he will be given three chances for trying again.
05.8 A student can also try to improve
her/his marks of any subject by applying for writing examinations of the same
subject for which she/he has already secured a pass or lower grades. If she/he
improves, that will be awarded to her/him but if she/he performs below the
already awarded grade, she/he will still continue with the same. A student has
to attempt all six theory papers together for improving the results.
05.9 The internal assessment marks once
awarded will remain the same for all examinations that the student may attempt.
The internal assessment marks should have a 50% minimum in each paper to qualify
for a pass in the examination.
05.10 The duration, type and contents of the
field practicals and project work will be decided by the concerned teacher who
will also monitor and evaluate them.
05.11 In the practical paper, completion of
field practicals is compulsory. A student who fails to conduct the field
practicals successfully will not be entitled for Certification. Project Work
carries 30 marks.
05.12 Without submission of assignments
scheduled for a semester, the student cannot attempt the final examination.
05.13 Interviews will be conducted after the
written examination at the end of the semester and this carries 05 marks per
paper.
05.14 Notwithstanding anything that has been
said in these Rules and Regulations, the decision of the Director of the
Institute will be final.
06. Certification
06.1 AIM INSIGHTS is academically independent
of any University or Government structure. Although it is recognised by
Mangalore University as 'Centre for Innovative Training in HRD' and by Ed. Cil.,
Ministry of HRD., Govt. of India as 'Institution for Planning and Management',
all its awards, certificates and diplomas are issued by AIM INSIGHTS itself.
06.2 In addition, some of the courses which
are co-sponsored by other institutions will be certified by both. In some cases,
the co-sponsor may issue an additional certificate.

01. Examination fees for all programmes are to be
paid separately.
02. Marks Cards and other certificates will be issued without any cost
Guidelines for applying for Single and Two Semester Programmes in HRD
01. Fill in the Application Form with necessary
information. All written matter should be in capital letters. Stick one passport
size photograph on the application.
02. The address provided should be correctly written
with pin code number so as to assure regular and timely correspondence.
03. The application form should be sent by
registered post or courier service only.
04. The application form should also carry with it a
Demand Draft for the amount of Rs. 1,200/- for single semester programme and
Rs.1,950/- for two-semester programme in the name of AIM INSIGHTS, payable at
Mangalore.
05. While AIM INSIGHTS is liberal in its attitude to
its students, it does not spend time to answer any query about any matter
concerning its programmes. Therefore, no letters of request should be attached
to the application.
06. An attested copy, attested by any competent
authority, of the PUC/Pre Degree/Higher Secondary or Degree Certificate should
be attached to the application. Copies of Provisional Certificates, pending
award of degree or marks cards qualifying for the required degree also will be
enough for grant of admission.
07. Application form with the necessary documents
attached to it should reach the Director, CDCE, AIM INSIGHTS, The HRD Group,
Valencia Circle, Mangalore.
08. In the reference column the applicant should
give the address of three lecturers from colleges of the place from where the
applicant sends the application. Such lecturers should have a minimum teaching
experience of ten years. Applications without three references will not be
accepted.
09. The following documents will complete the
application:

3. D.D. in the name of AIM INSIGHTS, payable at Mangalore.
