Too many people fail to reach their full potential in life because their abilities are not discovered and developed.

What the country needs is human resource developers for all its people - to train them to be effective and successful at whatever they do in life. It is a commitment. This is what CARAT (College for Action Research And Training) strives to achieve by organizing short duration training programmes in HRD and grassroot action research.

It offers resource development training programmes for educational institutions, NGOs and corporate organizations; and conducts action research on cure, rehabilitation and development of human resource of students, teachers, parents, executives and workers.

Under the aegis of AIM INSIGHTS, its parent body, CARAT has offered training programmes to over seventy thousand people from November 1992. 

It has conducted eighty one Facilitator Certification in HRD, a six month course with a ten-day residential contact programme covering more than two thousand participants drawn from corporate organizations, universities, colleges, schools and NGOs.

CARAT has the brand name of ‘FEEL’ attached to all its training programmes. All ‘FEEL’ programmes aim at concept clarification and skill development. There is an influence process by which the efficiency of the individual will increase. A participant who is unconscious of his competence is guided to become conscious of his incompetence. Once this is done, she or he is helped to consciously perform with competence and through continuous practice the person exhibits the competence rather unconsciously without effort.
