BHRD with BBM

A Composite Graduate Programme

 

CLHRD admits only twenty five students per batch for purposes of giving individual attention. Admissions are based on PUC marks, entrance tests and interviews. An HR practitioner faculty uses interactive teaching methodologies. There is a specialised HRD library. Corporates, NGOs, Guest faculty from Corporational fields engages classes on a weekly basis. Sunday is a working day to facilitate corporate interventions, with Monday as a weekly holiday. College offers innovative training and developmental activities for developing personal effectiveness.

 

BHRD  The Graduate Diploma

 

Basics in Human Resource Development
This is a three year course of study which leads to a Diploma in Human Resource Development. Being the first course of its kind in the country, it facilitates employment in Personnel or HR departments of organisations or even private practice in HRD. The students have eight papers in the first trimester and four papers each in the nine trimesters, there being ten trimesters in three years and three months each paper has 40 hours of teaching including six hours of practicals. Practicals and projects are for personal development.
 

BBM  The Graduate Degree

 

Bachelor of Business Management
BBM is a three year degree course in Business Management from Kuvempu University. It is equivalent to any graduate degree from an Indian University. Annual examinations are conducted by the University. The syllabus and the texts are as per Kuvempu University regulations. There will be six papers in the first year, six papers in the second year and eight papers in the final year. Seventy two hours will be available for teaching each paper. Materials provided by the University for the correspondence course also will be made available to students.
